Bonjourno!
It's piddling down today. I used to love rain, but the thought of trudging back to the flat with my McQueen skinny suitcase behind me in a downpour fills me with dread.
But back to the flat I shall go. I miss home. I think everyone finds moving out difficult, but no one thinks to talk about it much. I am unashamedly homesick.
I miss my Hunter wellies, the Aga, the countryside, my cat, walks with the dog, roast dinners.... the lot.
My only consultation is that today I can march back to London town with a little bit of English heritage on my back; a mark of the countryside in a concrete metropolis. Enter my Barbour-inspired new All Saints coat, it's waxy exterior should make water drip off my back a la duckstyle. It's meant to be a Christmas present but I whined and pined and whined some more and dearest Daddy has let me start wearing it now.
